Phil was the proud owner of Phil's Hideaway in Odessa during the late 1980's and early 1990's, serving pizza, subs, and ice cream. It was a popular place for the young and old in those days.
In his later years, Phil was a football coach, wrestling coach, baseball coach, as well as a school bus driver for the Odessa-Montour Central School District. He enjoyed camping, outdoor activities, classic cars, fantasy football, and was a member of the Horseheads Snowmobile Club.
