Obituary of Jane L. May

Jane L. May, 60, of Ithaca, died on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Jane was a very caring person. She loved her kids and family. She had many struggles in life, but her love for her family was never ending. She loved gardening and cooking. Her favorite thing to do was getting together for dinner with her family. Jane spent a lot of time with her granddaughter and great granddaughter. She had many jobs in her lifetime. She was a waitress, bartender, and saleswoman. Her favorite job was working in the vineyards and with fruits and vegetables. Jane will be deeply missed by her family. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth L. May and Laura A. (Augustine) May; brother, John Lyon; niece, Caroline Lyon; and nephew, Daniel Bennett. Jane is survived by her children, Frank Klimek, Brandon Margreno (Katie), Natalie Steinberg and Conor Riley; granddaughter, Dakota; great granddaughter, Zayliah; brothers, Craig (Angela) May, David (Margaret) Lyon; sisters, Rebecca (DJ) Chutas and Jill (Kenneth) Dann; nephews, Kenny (Mandy) May, Dakota (her Buckaroo) Chapin, RC Brown, Stephen (Calyn) Polakow, and Garrett Lyon; nieces, Gloria (Dave) Stigers, Alecia Bennett, Kayla May, Mattie Dann, Stephanie Sanchez and Sydney Lyon; and by several great nieces and nephews. May she rest in Peace. There will be no services. A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
