Obituary of Nicky L. McFall

Nicky Lee McFall, 35, of Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Watkins Glen as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born in Montour Falls on February 11, 1986, the son of Charles and Nancy (Rider) McFall. He was employed with Hale Roofing, Inc. in Horseheads for the past five years. Nicky enjoyed fixing cars, taking his boat out, kayaking, riding his motorcycle, or just tinkering with things. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but he took the most pride in spending time with his wife. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Frank Rider in 2020 and Howard McFall in 1994; grandmother, Gail McFall; stepdaughter, Theresa Tyson in 2004; and by several uncles. He is survived by his wife, Heather M. (Bower) McFall, whom he has been with for 13 years; sons, Payton Kelly of Silver Springs, FL, Damion and Gavin Gublo of Elmira; a daughter, Jade Gublo of Elmira; parents, Charles and Nancy McFall of Burdett; sisters, Tammy McFall (Paul) of Campbell and April (Donald) Ball of Montour Falls; brothers, Ronald McFall (Melissa) of Corning and Shane Jennings; grandmother, Edie Ryder of Montour Falls; 16 nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and by a special person in Nicky's life, Chuck Kendall. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nicky's memory to ABATE of New York-motorcycle awareness.
