Obituary of Michael P. Thomas

Michael P. Thomas "Mike", age 45, of Beaver Dams, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 27th, 2021. Michael was born in Bath, NY on August 5th, 1975, the son of Bruce and Iva (Dailey) Thomas. He had attended Bath Haverling High School. Michael worked for over 18 years for the Village of Montour Falls and most recently was working in the water and sewer department as an operator. Michael enjoyed his Car Culture including 4X4's, Muscle Cars and Motorcycles. He enjoyed going to Car Shows, Bike Nights, being a MOPAR man, Michael recently acquired his dream car a 2017 Dodge Challenger. Above all his enjoyments in life, Michael loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and significant other. Michael is survived by his significant other of six years, Kimberly Stickler Farrell of Beaver Dams; daughters, Tiffany Velie of Addison, Amber Thomas of Bath, Mary (Declan Daudelin) Thomas of Beaver Dams, and Megan Thomas of Beaver Dams; sons, Peter "PJ" Velie of Monterey and Kevin (Kaylee Brown) Thomas of Beaver Dams; his mother, Iva Dailey Thomas; and several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was predeceased by the mother of his children, Nicole Velie in 2010 and his father, Bruce Thomas in 2017. Friends and family may call from 11am to 2pm on Friday, July 9th, 2021 at Vedder Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY 14865. A graveside service will immediately follow at Montour Cemetery in Montour Falls, NY.
