Condolences
I worked with Bev at OMCS till she retired. A wonderful lady whom I love and will greatly miss her. Rest in peace Bev.
When I first met Phil, I surprised him on his birthday. He took me to go see his grandmother. Never met the lady before and she gave me a hug. Said "I'm so happy that has found a friend like you", and gave me another hug. I felt like Phil was showing me off like a new girlfriend. We had been friends online, playing video games together for about a year at that point, and apparently talked about me alot. I know because grandma told me. I knew immediately that this was another place to call home. Always had nice things to say, always asking how I was. I could talk to her for hours. So cool, so down to earth. Phil would be on the phone with me at times while going to grandmas and was always so excited to hear that I was on the other line. I'm going to miss that. I'm going to miss her.
Love you Grandma

I grew up in Odessa and sister Barbara was a good friend. I remember her big sisters in awe, So pretty. so kind. My condolences to Beverly's family.
I was a close friend of Beverly’s sister Barbara Flatt for many years. During those years I had the honor of spending time with the whole Flatt clan. Beverly’s husband Don was a member of the Odessa Fire Department, which my husband was also a member.
Our condolences to the family, lithe passing off a parent is always difficult.
We are saddened by the news of Bev's passing. She was a friend to all and we enjoyed our time in the Fire Department and Auxiliary with her (and Don). She will be missed by so many--family, friends and even just those she only met once or twice. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Bev was like a second mom to me, always welcoming me when I stopped to visit with Kathy. She always asked about my mom and my family, truly caring to know how they were doing. She also always asked about and spoke highly of my husband, Jay, and we reminisced always about his relationship with Don. I am so grateful that I was able to see her and talk with her on Kathy’s last visit. RIP Bev. I know you are with Don and looking over us all. Thank you for caring for everyone you knew.
Mrs. Riley was as kind as she was strong. A real “steel magnolia,” she was an inspiration to me during a difficult time. I’m fortunate to have known her.
My heartfelt condolences to her devoted daughters and to all her family.
