Obituary of Jean Chalk

Chalk, Jean Marie Age 84, Odessa, NY Jean Chalk passed on November 27, 2012. Jean was surrounded by her family at the Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls as she went on to be with her Lord. Jean was born on May 24, 1928 in Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by both of her parents, Stanley Kelly and Edna (Kelly) Burke as well as her brothers Kenneth and Louis Kelly. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law June and Bill Wheeler from Odessa. Jean was also predeceased by her loving husband, Louis A. Chalk as well as her son Carmen G. Chalk. Jean has three surviving children, Beverly A. and (Jerry) Burke from Elmira, Louanne M. and (Wayne) Gumke from Tennessee and Louis A. (Chip) Chalk from California. Jean is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as many friends too numerous to mention. A memorial service will be held at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home in Montour Falls, NY on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:00 PM.
