Condolences
So sad to hear of Peter's passing, he will be greatly missed by all. I knew Peter back in the early 70's when he and Sjoukje came to England to race in Formula Ford 1600, he worked so hard with us at Race-Care a real friend out of the car, but close that visor and a very hard but fair driver. He helped get Montoya over to us in the UK when I worked for Jackie Stewart's team, thanks again Peter.
Always a big family man, and he will be missed, our deepest thoughts with you all.....

Les n Joan Farrington--We didn't know Peter but we know how you are grieving, We are praying for all of your family.
Just looking at all the photos brings back so many memories of fun and happy moments that many of us had the pleasure to share with him. His great smile and personality will never be forgotten. Pete was truly greater than life.
Rest in peace, my friend, rest in peace.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the entire family.

I am saddened to hear of Peter’s passing and send my deep condolences to the Argetsinger family. We were friends, classmates and fellow athletes in HS. I recall riding with Peter in his MG and talking about auto racing as 17 year olds. I remember asking him if that was what he wanted to do. He knew how challenging it was to enter the field. Within a few years he was a European racing champion. He was a champion from the start in every thing he did, was greatly respected and admired and will be missed but never forgotten. Gary Miller and family.
His death takes me aback. It seems completely wrong. He should have had much more time. I miss him.

My husband Joe and I had the tremendous pleasure to work closely with Peter while running the CCR series. He was always so full of energy and his passion for teaching and motor sports were infectious. In addition to motor racing he told stories of his children and his amazing wife. All around amazing man. He will be missed. Pattie & Joe Foster
Maria and I are sorry for your loss, I know there is nothing I can say that can help ease your pain, we will pray for all the Argetsinger family as they journey through their grief.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. I'll miss him too.I enjoyed every time I met up with Pete.
So sorry to hear this news Sjoukje, Kimberley and JC. So many great and funny memories! An inspiration to myself and many others as we embarked on our careers in Motorsport. I still remember when i told him of my first race win and how genuinely happy and excited he was. His friendship and generosity never wained no matter how long it had been. Luckily I bumped into him last year and it was just like we'd just seen each other yesterday. I still remember a trip to the Glen and taking a tour on the family land with Pete and his brother to eat fresh honey out of the hive. When i was a young kid in the UK, Pete was the guy to beat & who I was in awe of and dreamed of being like if I got the chance to race, vivid memories of that Pagan Man FF lining up on pole at Brands on numerous occasions. It was quite an honour to work side by side with him as I started my career. His teaching skills were second to none, an amazing person who touched many lives.
Missed but never forgotten.
Cheers Pete!
