Condolences
Mrs. Lafever was a wonderful woman, she was a big part of our lives as with my parents.
I remember she always had a smile for everyone and her faith was unstoppable..
She will be greatly missed.
My gracious mother was a roll model to be followed. She was: wise, loving, gentle, caring, hard working, respected, & loved deeply by all of her friends, & family.
Her wisdom guided me through all of my adult life. I am so blessed because of her investment in me.
If this world had more of her caliber as mothers this world would be a better world.
Her greatest joy was her children, & we were honored, & blessed to be able to serve her to the end.
She was an awesome cook, & feed many a hungry traveler that sat at our table.
She is greatly missed!!!
Mrs LaFever has always been a part of my life. I so many wonderful memories but mostly her sewing room. The sound of her machine and her humming. The smell of great food. I don't ever remember Susan and I not being friends. I will forever remember great times at the LaFever family home. My thoughts and love to you all.
Joann was special to me. When she was a nurse at Corning hospital, she was with me when my mother passed, giving me love and support during that difficult hour. So sorry for your loss.
