Obituary of Wilfred S. Bush, Sr

Wilfred S. Bush Sr., 76, passed away on Nov.23rd, 2019, while being lovingly cared for by the staff at Schuyler Hospital. Born to Wilfred Bush and Margaret Curran in Montour Falls, N.Y., "Bushy" worked as a press operator for 35 years for what is now US Salt, in Watkins Glen. Wilfred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56yrs, Susanne, just four months earlier. In addition to Sue, Wilfred was also preceded in death by two of his three sons, Wilfred Bush Jr in 2005, Timothy Bush in 2006, and granddaughter Amanda Bush-Cortright in 2014. Wilfred is survived by son, Jeffrey; daughter, Vera; son-in-law, Johnny Phillips; and a large group of family and friends. Wilfred was a great family man and one of the kindest men you'd ever want to meet. He was loved by all who knew him.
