Mike was my contemporary and friend. We met when his school years ended and his parents fought for Mike and others to have hope and a bright future. We sat together at many spaghetti dinners, we danced and laughed together. In his quiet way he was a great influencer. Thank you Mike for the positive impact you have had on others.
My sincere condolences to mike and his family and to the many staff that worked with mike he was a great guy also I had the honor of working with and he will forever be missed!!! So mike may you rest easy and fly high like the caring sole that you were sir.
i am so sorry to learn of Mike's death. i had the pleasure of knowing him when I worked at the ARC. Mike was a dear man. it was a blessing to have known him.
Mike Brown and his family were extremely important in the history of The Arc of Schuyler. Mike's mother and father were founding members and great supporters of The Arc and Mike was a treasure to them. I remember Mike in the early days of my involvement with The Arc. He always participated in fundraising and community events. He and his father, Tom, were the public relations department. Mike would introduce himself and shake hands with everyone he met. He became an independent young man and gained many friends at The Arc and in the community at large. Bottom line - Mike was kind. Yes he had his limits but his instinct was to treat everyone with respect. He will be missed.
