Obituary of Frank H. Simpson

Frank H. Simpson, born in Montour Falls, NY on May 2, 1948, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 71. Frank resided in Creston, NC, and was originally from Watkins Glen, NY. Frank was also known as "Joe" to his family and friends. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and Simmons School of Embalming in Syracuse, NY. Frank was a former funeral director and truck driver. He was an avid hunter, golfer, card player, and sportsman. Frank was predeceased by his father, Frank W. Simpson, mother, Alberta Smith and stepfather, George Smith, brothers, Robert Simpson, Donald Simpson, and Ronald Simpson, and nephews, Jeff and Jason Cervoni. Frank is survived by his sister, Beverly (Ron) Cervoni of Watkins Glen, NY; brother, Harry (Tina) Smith of Elmira, NY; wife of Robert Simpson, Denise Simpson of Burdett, NY, wife of Ronald Simpson, Caroline Simpson of Beaver Dams, NY; step-brothers, Kirk and Linda Smith of Montour Falls, NY, Rick and Amy Smith of Watrous, PA; and by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 4:30 pm at Montour Cemetery, Mill St., Montour Falls with Rev. George Norton officiating. If you would like to bring one special flower to lay on the casket at the graveside service, you are welcome to do so.
