Obituary of Mary Jane Rosbaugh

Mary Jane Rosbaugh, age 90, formerly of Montour Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Oak Hill Manor in Ithaca, NY. She was born December 20, 1927 in Valois, NY, to the late George and Marietta Connolly. Mary Jane graduated from Watkins Glen High School and Robert Packer School of Nursing in Sayre, PA. She was employed as an R.N. for several years at the old Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, NY. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Steve) Laughlin of Watkins Glen, Barbara (Jim) Adesso of Watkins Glen, Rebecca Wilkinson of Ithaca, Michael Rosbaugh of Painted Post, and Jacquelyn (Greg) Dense of Alpine; grandchildren, Matthew and Phillip Adesso, Stefanie (James) Gublo, Kimberly (Brandon) Jelliff and Alyssa and Jeff Dense; one great granddaughter, Jennifer Gublo. Also surviving, are two half-brothers, Tracy and Lewis Rosbaugh; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Forrest "Frosty" Rosbaugh, sister, Alice Cornish, and son-in-law, Mark Wilkinson. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Lodi Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful, caring staff at Oak Hill Manor.
