Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I hope you can find comfort from the God of all comfort who through his word can help us through these difficult times. Losing someone we love is never easy. It is not a surprise that the Bible refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26). In that same verse it comforts us by saying that it will be "brought to nothing", or soon death will end forever. We know this is true because the Bible also promises that "There will be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15), a real hope of seeing our loved ones again. I hope these words have brought you a bit of comfort during this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I was just thinking about your mother the other day and wondered how she was doing. Such a shame to loose you Father and not have her understand. I know you will all miss him.
