Dear Sue and Family,

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Bill's passing. I was recently thinking of you both. He was such a terrific guy with a love for life and those around him. I think of our BorgWarner get togethers with Bill and Brent and the fun and laughter we shared. Do you remember Bill giving me the June Cleaver nickname?

I hope you will find comfort in knowing Bill is pain free with our Father in Heaven. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was always a bright spot in the day when I was on duty in the Cortland facility. Loved the sense of humor and he alway had a smile. The biggest smiles came the few weeks before he retired though. He was ready and looking forward to it. Bill will definitely be missed by many people. I just watched your video and it was beautiful, brought many tears to my eyes. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, Dad, grandpa and truly wonderful friend to anyone he knew. He always wore an infectious smile, which automatically made you smile, even if you didn't feel like smiling. I am sorry I couldn't make it to the services, but I wanted to let you all know that even though I couldn't go, I have been thinking about you all. May God see you through this, as I know He will. We are sad for ourselves and for you at this news:

God knew that Bill was suffering, and that he was in pain. He knew that Bill, would never get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed his weary eyelids, and whispered “Peace and rest be thine.”

It broke our hearts to lose him, but he did not go alone…For part of us went with him

the day God called you home.
