Obituary of Jeffrey C. Williams

Jeffrey Charles Williams,65, of Burdett, NY passed away after a prolonged illness on Wednesday December 13, 2017. He was born in Montour Falls, NY on May 27, 1952 to Jean (Webster) and Charles Williams. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Charles Williams. He is survived by his children: Christina (Dean) Jackson, Ronelle (Adam) Thornton, and Charles Williams; his mother, Jean Williams; his beloved grandsons Henry, Mitchell, and Theodore Jackson; his ex-wife Mary Williams; his sister Katherine (Doug) Irons, and brother Steven Williams; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Jeff is also survived by his dear friend Nancy Woodworth-Shaw who was dedicated to his care as his health declined. Jeff owned Williams Electric for many years, and later worked as an electrical estimator for Welliver. He loved his home on Seneca Lake, and in his spare time enjoyed boating, racing and watching the Yankees. Jeff also enjoyed coaching his grandsons' Little League teams before his health prevented him. Jeff's family is especially indebted to the support that they received from Angel Flights and the Schuyler County Ambulance. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Jeff's life on Sunday, December 17th at the Elks Lodge at 300 N Madison Ave, Watkins Glen, NY from 2-5pm with a brief Elks Service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be sent to the Burdett Fire Department at 3830 Willow Street, Burdett, NY 14818.
