Obituary of Walter Skinner

Skinner, Walter C. Jr. "Bud" Age 67 of Alpine, NY passed away on Friday May 4, 2012 at the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. He was born on November 28, 1944 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Walter and Ellen (Gable) Skinner Sr. Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Rose Fish of Alpine, NY; his children, Timothy (Jennifer) Skinner of Odessa, NY; Robert S. Skinner of Rochester, NY; April (David) Moore of Interlaken, NY; and Patrick (Sarah) Skinner of Savona, NY; grandchildren, Benjamin, Meagan, Alexis, Kalyn, Jacob, Page, Christopher and Alex; great granddaughter Phoenix; brother, Robert C. Skinner and sister Bonnie (Larry) Spencer both of Seneca Falls, NY; many nieces, nephews and family friends. Walter served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a Black Top engineer with Dalrymple Construction with 41 years of dedicated service. Walter also was an avid hunter and fisherman. Family and friends are invited to the Odessa American Legion, 2532 Steam Mill Rd. Odessa, NY 14869 on Wednesday May 9th 2012 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the conclusion of call hours at 2:00 p.m. Interment, with Military Honors will follow in Laural Hill Cemetery.
