Obituary of Kirsten M. Little

Kirsten Marie Sample Little, 24, of Elmira, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was joined in Heaven two days later by her newborn son, Willie David Little. She was born in Montour Falls on December 21, 1992 the daughter of Scott Sample and Jeannie Horton. Kirsten was a loving wife and stay at home mom. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Little, Jr. of Elmira; daughter, Leandra M. Cole; step son, Elijah Boyd; parents, Scott Sample (Barbara E. Thompson) of Montour Falls, and Jeannie M. Horton (Randall W. Green) of Corning; grandparents, Robert D. (Frances) Sample of Montour Falls, Donald (Tammy) Horton of Bath, and Judith Horton of Bath, and Lee Ann Tyler of Lindley; sisters, Kayla L. Sample of Old Town, FL, Kimberlyn M. Green of Corning, Taylor M. Thompson of Montour Falls, Madison H. Thompson of Montour Falls, Jessica L. (Aaron)Gerow of Painted Post, and Colleen Collins; brothers, William S. (Shawn)Deprospero of Millport, and Jordan S. Thompson of Montour Falls; in-laws, Clara Hargraves and Donald W. Little, Sr.; aunts, Jaime Patoine, Keri Horton, Jennifer Horton, Meghan Tyler, Michelle Champlain, Laura Morseman, Nancy Shumway, Kandy Sample and Jessica Church; uncles, Robert Sample, Jr., Gary Horton, Daniel Shumway, Sr., Steven Tyler, Jeffrey Tyler, and Simon Patoine; eleven cousins; a niece and four nephews. She was predeceased by her great grandfather, David Hall in 2009, great grandmother, Melissa Hall in 2012, great grandmother, Agnes Wyre in 2009, great grandfather, Donald Horton, Sr. in 1998, great grandmother, Doris Horton in 2017, and cousin, Daniel Shumway. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 221 W. South St., Montour Falls.
