Condolences
To her family: I am sorry for your loss, I only just now found out. I work at the Office for the Aging in Montour and served Phyllis for many many years. When I got married nine years ago she gave me a gift of a Christmas decoration with mine and my husband's names on it. I never put it on the tree, instead it hangs in our bedroom all year long. Phyllis used to love to be at lunch on her birthday when she was often delivered flowers and I know she felt special.
She was a real sweetie, may she rest in peace with our Lord. She and Lil can now rock the heavens together.
Dear Emmy and Family
I just, yesterday, learned of your Mom's passing. Because I only work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I did not hear about it until I got to work yesterday. How very clever of her to wait until her birthday! Even though her health had declined, and you were kinda expecting it, I know from my own experience, that when your Mom is gone, so is a large part of us.
I notified Linda Capwell, as they had just been here and she said she sent her a birthday card.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Love, Hugs, and Prayers, Ruth Powers
Emily and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom will be greatly missed. Everytime I ever seen her (with or without you) she always had a smile on her face. I will miss seeing her
Soooo sorry for your loss. Phyllis was one sweet lady. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
My dear, wonderful Phyllis who, for many years, was just "Mrs. E." to me, became a dear and close friend after the passing of her son, Les. I was grateful that I got to see her and the family when I went back home to NY (from NM) for my 50th class reunion in 2015. I adored the simplicity and love with which she faced the world. I hope I am as loved as she was when I reach 90. My love to Em, Gene, Bern and Doug.
My most sincere condolences to the entire family. I went to school with Doug. I am certain that Mrs. Eggersdorf is free of any pain and she will now be piloting her own winds with wings much like the winds on the back of Doug's bike!! HUGS to all.
Much love, hugs and prayers to the family. I thought the world of your mom. Best wishes!
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Phyllis. I have many memories of her living near us on Skyline Drive. I am sorry I will be out of town for the viewing and funeral but will be thinking of all of you. She will be missed.
