Obituary of Jamie Todd Webster

Jamie Todd Webster, 37, of Odessa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was born in Elmira, on December 3, 1979, the son of George and Marie (Greene) Webster. He graduated from Odessa Montour High School in 1998. Jamie received his LPN from BOCES and later fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a RN from Elmira College in 2012. Jamie worked as an RN at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester. He previously worked at Rochester General Hospital and Schuyler Hospital. Jamie loved the New York Yankees, and was a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed watching hockey, and was fond of the Red Hat Ladies. Jamie was a loving son, brother, and friend. He was a dedicated nurse, who loved helping others. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Webster on March 15, 2012; grandparents, Willard and Elsie Webster, and John and Alice Pabis. Jamie is survived by his father, George Webster of Odessa; sister, Dawn (Eric) Griffin of Cayuta; brother, Chad Webster of Odessa; nieces and nephews, Makayla and Jared Griffin of Cayuta, Alec and Allison Webster of Horseheads, Chad (Brooke) Brantley and Wesley Webster of Odessa; Michael Kleist of Elmira Heights, and Cheianne Webster of Alpine; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins that live locally. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
