Obituary of Caitlin Elizabeth Hoagland

Caitlin Elizabeth Hoagland, 14, of Pooler, GA, was granted her angel wings on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Although Caitlin's time with us was brief, she certainly touched many lives. She loved going to school and spending time with her classmates, friends, family, and her pets. Caitlin had an extraordinary smile that would light up the room. And although she couldn't speak words, her smile spoke volumes. She brought a tremendous amount of joy to all who knew her. She will truly be missed by everyone. Caitlin was born on November 1, 2002, along with her twin brother. She is survived by her loving parents, Brad and Linda (Ector) Hoagland; brother, Cameron; sister Brittany; maternal grandparents, Joe and Vicky Ector of Watkins Glen; maternal grandmother, Somjai Paiz of LA; paternal grandmother, Grace Matwiejow of Tyrone; also several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Haley and Sierra Hoagland; and paternal grandfather, LeRoy Hoagland. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday April 14, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm.
