Freddy grew up in Cayuta, NY and attended Odessa-Montour Central School in Odessa, NY. He enlisted and served his country in the United States Army as a Paratrooper and was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. He was self-employed most of his life as a carpenter and worked as an electrician at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, FL before falling ill.
He loved his children very much and mentioned them often. He had a great sense of humor and could always put a smile on anyone's face. We loved his wit, charm and southern accent. Fred's greatest passion was fishing and we know he has now sailed his boat to heaven to be with the Lord. We all loved him very much and will miss him dearly.
The family would like to invite relatives and friends to join us in a celebration of Freddy's life with full military honors on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home located at 122 N.
