Gestures
Don, children and grand-children, I was heart-broken to learn of your loss. I was still hoping that Connie would feel well enough to travel again and stop in Portland to see me. I've always felt like I knew the family from the stories Connie and I shared working together in the Middle School library. What a joy it was to know her, and, through her, all of you.
Don and Family~ We were so sorry to learn of Connie's passing. We were out of town at the time and just read it today. We are sending our heartfelt condolences to all of you, along with prayers to comfort you at this time. Connie was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Connie's wisdom will be missed along with her beautiful smile the sound of her laughter her unwavering positivity and the undeniable love she had for her family. She beamed with light, honor - was so very proud of her family and all of the accomplishments. I was so very blessed to have known such a kindhearted graceful woman. Hugs, kisses & much love my friend...
Our deepest sympathies to Don and all the Gooley Clan. I will always remember Pudge, as an amazing, fun, calming, and easy to talk to, funny lady! I always cherish the times spent with Pudge, and our prayers are with Don and the family.
Anne-
We are so sad for the loss of your truly lovely mother. We will most remember her one-of-a-kind beautiful smile, but will also never forget her witty sense of humor, gracious generosity, and of course her love of shopping for you and the kids :-) She was a wonderful woman who could make anyone laugh. Tom still talks about the day she agreed to make him her Poolboy!
Your mom will be greatly missed by so many. Much much love to you and your entire family.
Love, Tom & Stacey
Anne, Bob, Eileen, Jack and all the family. We will miss Connie, very much. Especially, at Thanksgiving when we would "fight" over getting in Bob's way in the kitchen. She was always happy when she came to visit you Anne. And so proud of you, Jack and Eileen. Coming to their concerts and games thrilled her. We know she will always watch over all of you.
"Mrs. G." was my 2nd mom when I was growing up. I have so many fond memories of her and am thankful she is now resting in peace. Thinking of you, Annie, and my extended family (Mr. G., Tim, Terry, Pat, and Mary).
Mrs. Gooley had a way of making us feel like we were part of her family and she definitely was part of ours. She was always interested in what was going on in our lives and always made us feel special. She will be greatly missed!
My dear friend Anne, I know there are no words I can possibly say to ease your heartache or grief. Please know that the silence of my words carries my message of love and support to you and your wonderful family. I believe your Mom is at peace and resting in the loving arms of God.
I'm asking God to send you the grace you will need to get through the quiet moments ahead. Love Eileen
