Obituary of Mildred Wickham

Mildred L. Wickham, 91,formerly of Montour Falls, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Groton Community Health Care Center. Mildred was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Montour Falls where she served as a deacon, a member of the Women's Guild, and she was a member of the Schuyler County Senior Citizens Club and the RSVP. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Linda Lou on January 5, 1944, her father, Chester Frank Brown on November 2, 1956, her mother, Ethel May Brown on November 7, 1989, husband of 52 years, Edward Omar Wickham on September 22, 1993, a half-brother, Richard Benedict in March of 1995, daughter, Judy Ann Wilson on July 3, 2009; and her granddaughter, Susan Beth Wilson on September 25, 2013. She is survived by her son-in-law, Hillis Lee Wilson of Lansing. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 208 W. South St., Montour Falls with Rev. George Norton officiating. Friends are invited to call from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Odessa.
