Obituary of Michelle Ryan

Michelle G. Ryan, age 56 of W. Water Street, Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Michelle was born on January 27, 1955 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Bruce and Joyce Dane. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 3 PM to 4 PM. Her funeral service will follow at 4 PM. The Rev. Michael Hartney will officiate. She graduated from Tyrone, PA Area High School in 1973, and obtained her LPN degree from Altoona, PA Vocational Technical School of Nursing in 1976. She received her Associates Degree of Occupational Studies in February 2010 from Elmira Business Institute. Michelle is survived by her sons, Christopher M. Shay and Eric M. Shay, both of Montour Falls, NY; Brothers, Scott Dane of Tyrone, PA., and sister Pamela Palarmo of Erie, PA. Also several nieces and nephews and friends throughout the area and was affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
