Obituary of Kevin B. Dunn

Kevin Brian Dunn passed away on November 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and creativity. He was born on May 1, 1965, and is survived by his common-law wife, Lisa Plows, his father, James Dunn, his brother Tom Dunn, sister-in-law, Diane Karaseivcz and his nieces and nephews.

Kevin graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in general studies, and for most of his working career, he served as a computer support specialist at SUNY Brockport until his retirement. Kevin's professional expertise was matched by his passion for continuous learning, as he was well-read and self-taught in many subjects that piqued his interest.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed fixing and restoring old cars and television sets, bringing vintage treasures back to life. He was also an adept drummer who played in several different bands, sharing his musical talent with many.

Kevin was also known for his fun-loving nature and mischievous sense of humor, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, November 22, 2024, followed by lunch at Trinity Lutheran Church; 149 Honness Lane, Ithaca, New York 14850. A burial service will be held at 2:30 pm later that day at the Montour Falls Cemetery; 174–198 Mill St. (Upper Entrance), Montour Falls, NY 14865.
