I met Jeff in 2012 after driving from Cincinnati, Ohio to his shop in Waverly, NY to look at a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury he was selling. It was a car he bought while living in Florida and completely restored, in the process installing a 426 Hemi stroker, 4-speed manual transmission, and Dana 60 rear end. We worked out a trade for the car and I never regretted it. Definitely the coolest car I’ve ever owned and a trophy winner at every car show I ever entered including Best Hemi at the annual Hemi Owners Association car show.
Jeff was always available to help answer technical questions about the car and our calls usually lasted a couple hours as Jeff loved to talk and tell stories. I hadn’t spoken with him since before the Pandemic and was crushed to hear of his passing.
I am so sorry for Marcia’s loss and I will never forget the man my wife fondly called my “BFF Jeff”.
