Obituary of Randy M. Personius
Randy Michael Personius, age 54, entered unto rest on July 8, 2024. Randy was born in Montour Falls, NY on November 26, 1969. Randy grew up in Alpine NY and attended Odessa-Montour High School.
He enjoyed cooking, and his first jobs as a teen were working as a cook at Chef's Diner and the Montour House. In his early twenties, he followed in his Dad's footsteps and got his Commercial Driving License. He spent most of his adult life as a cross country tractor trailer driver for various moving companies.
Randy was a rebel, always looking for his next adventure. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed riding his Harley, music, his pets, and spending time with his family.
Randy was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Betty Howard Personius, his oldest daughter Jacquelyn, his brother Tom and his sister Victoria.
He is survived by daughters Randi Michelle and Adrionna; step-son Daniel; grandchildren Jaylynn, Jocelyn, Jonah, Jewelianna, Hanah and Hayden; long time partner Laurie, her son Jake and his daughter Alaina (Randy's Lainy Bug); siblings Larry, Louise, Cathy, Roxie, Bobby, Norman, Ronald, Dennis, Michelle, Daniel, Jeffery, Gregory, Renee, Jeff, Jennifer, Jamie, Tim, Beth and Mikey; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his "baby" dog Sadie.
It was Randy's wishes to be cremated. A memorial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 12 noon, at the Odessa American Legion, 2532 Steam Mill Road, Odessa, NY. As a special gesture, those wishing to can wear something representing the Pittsburgh Steelers, or Harley-Davidson, because Randy would get a kick out of that, especially from non fans!
