Condolences
I made new friends when CareFirst allowed me to volunteer as a companion with John Q. - he and his wonderful wife Joanie made me feel most welcome in their home. We discovered many similar interests and other people we happened to know. During my visits we listened to music and enjoyed hearing John Q. with his talents playing the harmonica and whistling. His smiles would brighten the room as did moments when Q would show his love for Joanie.
He was well known for special qualities going back to high school - his sense of humor one of them, which his students when he was a teacher, appreciated.
Play a song you really like in remembrance of Q - and smile.
Joannie So Sorry to gear of John Q's death. He was also great to have around and talk to!
Joanne, So sorry to hear this news about "Q". Pam and I remember him (actually you two) as great outdoor enthusiasts and good hiking, canoeing, and general all around great folks to be around. Amazing how time passes since we last saw you two on an Adirondack Mtn Club outing or such. Hope you and your clan find some solace and peace that his memory is one of joy in the great outdoors.
Oh, Joanie, I am so sorry to hear this news. You and Q - the two of you made the ADK club trips that much more fun! Q was the best! All my love to you and your family. Love, from Lucy
Joanne, Steve & Kelly,

Oh, I am so sad to hear this news. Q was a remarkable man, using common sense and humor to speak up for protecting the natural beauty around us. I will always remember his smile and kindness. His memory is a grace that lightens the hearts of all who knew him.
