Obituary of Katherine A. Davis

Katherine A. Davis, 67, of Alpine, NY, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Steuben Center in Bath, NY. She was born in Ithaca, NY on April 28, 1956 the daughter of Freeman Edwin Badmone and Geraldine May Spears and graduated from Penn Yan Academy. On April 30, 1977, she married Dale Davis in Tyrone, NY. Katherine was in customer service for over 40 years, retiring in 2018. Katherine was a person who was more about helping others. She was very hard working and her customers were very important to her. She had a strong bond to her family. Family and friends closest to her would describe her as a crazy, loving, independent and powerful woman who cared deeply for other human beings. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale Davis; daughter, Tabitha L. Davis of Alpine, NY; two granddaughters, Felisha Ann Cook of Alpine, NY and Lexa Updike of Trumansburg, NY; 26 brothers and sisters; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and by several siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
