Condolences
Gary had a special place in my life. We talked regularly over the forty-plus years that I knew him, well after he had left the area. He shared the challenges that he faced and we discussed the many situations that he found himself in over those years. I had not heard from him recently and am saddened to hear of his passing. I will miss those conversations.
Rest, Gary, and know that you will be remembered as a kind soul… who never gave up hope!
Gary was like a brother growing up. We spent many a good time swimming at the basin and at the water tanks on Seneca lake, running around the dike on Catherine Creek and building tree forts along the dike. He followed me into the USMC and after discharge we continued to have many good memories. I will miss Gary and he will always have a place in my heart.
We just heard about Gary passing. So Sorry. I knew Gary before he went in the Marine Corp. He was stationed at Camp Lejeune as I was. He would visit in Jacksonville. We remember him driving his red mustang.
