Obituary of David "Mickey" Fazzary

David "Mickey" Fazzary, 68, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Friday May 12th, 2023 unexpectedly at home. Mickey was born on June 16th, 1954 to the late John and Shirley Fazzary. He grew up in Watkins Glen with his sister Patti Fazzary and brother Johnny (Cathy) Fazzary. Mickey is survived by his wife, Lori Fazzary; four daughters; three granddaughters; two grandsons; nephew, Jonathan; and several cousins. Mickey was a dedicated father and grandfather, determined to provide for his family and give them everything he could. He was exceptionally proud of all of his children, Jessica Fazzary, Erin Fazzary, Allyson Hunter, and Alynn Silliman. Anyone who knew him knew that he was the most thoughtful father and grandfather anyone could ask for. After graduating from High School, he started his career at Shepard Niles. Mickey loved to cook for the people in his life that he cared about the most. He also passionately rooted for the Cleveland Browns, Syracuse basketball and the New York Yankees. He could often be found riding his motorcycle with friends, hunting, or hanging at the Moose Club. A Celebration of Mickey’s Life will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 12-4 pm at the Montour Falls Moose Lodge, 2096 County Road 14, Montour Falls, NY 14865. The family requests that all flowers are sent directly to the Montour Moose Lodge.
