Mr Phoenix lived next door to us on Columbia street in Oxford for my whole childhood and was always so sweet to me and my 3 brothers! We would constantly kick our kickball in his beautiful garden and my dad would yell at us, but Mr. Phoenix would just laugh and get the ball for us! He used to bring me in the greenhouse and let me help him. I felt like his dogs Ranger and Smokey were like my own. Many good memories of great neighbors! So sorry for your loss!
