French, Richard, O. age 76 of Millport, NY passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011. He is survived by his wife Linda S. French, Sons: Daniel of North Carolina, Donald of Virginia, Dennis of Florida. Step Children: Lillian Prestridge, Leon Adams and Debbie Falls. Brother in law: Harry Stoddard. 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Special friends, Vickie Burton and Barbara Sullivan. Richard was predeceased by his 4 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Mr. French was one of the organizers and developers of the West Elmira Fire Department and worked for 20 plus years for the Department. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. His funeral service & committal service will be held at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10 AM. Interment will take place in Montour Cemetery.
