Luke, Betty J. age 72 of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Elcor Health Services. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 10 AM to 11 AM. Her funeral and committal service will be held following visitation at 11 AM. The Rev. George Norton will be officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery of Hector. Mrs. Luke is survived by her Daughters: Christina Aponte of Perth Amboy, NJ and Betty Jane Rogers of Montour Falls, NY. Son: Melvin Luke of Burdett, NY. 14 Grandchildren, 3 Great grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren. Brother: Archie Rumsey of Watkins Glen, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Luke was predeceased by her parents: Lynford and Leona Champian Rumsey, son: Brian Luke, Brother: Frederick Rumsey, Sisters: Helen Parker, Lena Rumsey and Doris Luke.
