Dear Family,
I know you don't know me, but I would like to help ease some of the pain and sorrow that we go through with the death of a loved one. Death is a terrible enemy as the Bible calls it. We all hate this enemy cause it takes our loved ones away from us, young and old alike. The Bible teaches us that the last enemy death "is to be brought to nothing" (1Cor. 15:26). Jehovah God promised that the dead will live again (Isaiah 26:19). When Jesus was on earth he performed resurrections of the dead, Jesus also taught that some day "all those in the memorial tombs" will be resurrected (John 5:28,29). This is very encouraging to all of us.It gives us a real hope for the future, a time were we won't say "I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24), a time when we will see them again.
