Condolences
To the Gardiner girls, your family paralleled the Riley girls' family from our earliest days. "Aunt Pat" and "Uncle Gene" were always part of the mix, especially as I grew older and saw my parents as people with good friends of their own. Your mom was **so** giving and I always felt embraced by her when we met up. A good woman who will not be forgotten. And take pride in the part you all played in giving her the opportunity to stay in her home as long as she did. That's such a gift to your mom. --Chris Riley
Although I knew Pat Gardiner, I think of her as Denise’s mom. I can read from Pat’s contributions to her church and community that she was busy working, raising children, helping family, starting a local business and being a role model for helping others.
I have known Denise for years and know how dedicated, responsible, compassionate and effective she is as the daughter of a woman who served and loved life .
To all of the family: So sorry for your loss, so many good many good memories with Pat, all the years going through school and seeing her there. Then at events at the FD with Gene. Then meals and coffee at Pat's s Place. She always had words of wisdom for us young kids growing up And then turning into young adults. She was a very nice lady and I'm glad I knew her fior so many years.
